of American States (OAS): Programa Regional de Desarrollo
Cultural: The OAS works to protect cultural property in its
member states, including library and archive materials.

Federation of Library Associations (IFLA): Core Programme for the
Advancement of Librarianship in the Third World: This subunit of
IFLA funds training and education projects internationally.

and Organizations Working in the Preservation Field: Mainly for
Europe, but displays some international focus.

Pact: An agreement between American nations on the protection
of artistic, historical and scientific institutions.
Cuenca
Declaration: International pact on curbing the illegal traffic
of cultural property.

Comissão de
Patrimônio Cultural: This program, out Universidade de
São Paulo, promotes the conservation and identification of
cultural property. The University also maintains a database on
cultural patrimony. In Portuguese.
Artes e Historia:
Still under construction, this Mexican source is developing sections
on "restauración" and "bibliotecas y liberías."
Getty Foundation: Located
in Santa Monica, California, USA, the Getty Institute provides funds
for the training of Latin American conservators, as well as for
conservation projects in Latin America.
