Subject: Library binding quality control
I would like to know: 1) what do various libraries do to check the quality of the binding they are getting from their commercial binders: what quality control checks are you going? Who does them? Is each book checked? Only a percentage of the order? What do you look for? 2) What do you find the error rate is over the year after checking the commercial binding? What percentage of the books sent are sent back to be redone? What percentage of the books sent do you think are not acceptable? I'd be grateful for any information. Thanks.
