There are a few news items in the hopper that I feel guilty sitting on until I have time to get out another issue. I decided to relieve my guilt by sending them out over Email. -Kathy Orlenko has moved to San Jose, California and is opening a conservation studio. She can be reached at 408-298-6546. -Harcourt Bindery wrote Feb. 1 to say they have some surplus equipment for sale: a small nipping press, Hickok board shears, job backer, and Kensol stamping press. Call 617-542-5858. -James Wooley at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania wants to know if any libraries out there are doing beta-radiography of watermarks. His number is 215/250-5246. -Y.P. Kathpalia died about three years ago. -NIST's study of aging in polluted air (materials, not people) has been completed. A report will be available soon. -Johanna Wellheiser of the METRO Toronto Reference Library has been working for the past year for IFLA on a summary of nontoxic pest control methods. Her report will be available after she turns it in to IFLA in a couple of months. *** Conservation DistList Instance 4:45 Distributed: Saturday, February 23, 1991 Message Id: cdl-4-45-001 ***Received on Monday, 18 February, 1991
