Library Journal Sourcebook

Patrick Ravines's question regarding manufacturers of library shelving
brought to mind a good resource:  the 12/2/92 issue of *Library Journal*
(subtitled *1993 Sourcebook:  The Reference for Library Products and
Services*).  It lists hundreds of products, from photocopy machines to
index tabs, each keyed to a list of vendors (including addresses and
phone numbers).  For example, the "shelving" entry lists 16 different
types--among them "mobile shelving," for which 19 vendors are listed.
