Announcing a program of interest to preservation librarians and administrators and micropublishers: American Library Association Annual Conference 1993 New Orleans, Louisiana Monday, June 28, 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Holiday Inn Superdome, Trio Room "Preservation and Micropublishers: New Models for a Profitable Partnership" A program sponsored by the ALCTS RLMS Micropublishing Committee Speakers: Timothy Fusco, Vice President, UMI Jacqueline Goggin, Curatorial Associate, Harvard University August Imholtz, Executive Editor, CIS Lee Jones, President, MAPS The speakers will address issues related to the debate over the participation of commercial micropublishers in the national preservation effort. The speakers bring a variety of perspectives on the potential for cooperation between libraries and micropublishers, and they will discuss their views of the possibilities and problems that exist if this type of partnership is pursued.
