  The 1994 Association of Systematics Collections and the Society for
  the Preservation of Natural History Collections will hold a joint
  meeting at the Missouri Botanical Garden, May 11-15, 1994.  The theme
  for the meeting is Collections Care and Collections Policies. Other
  topics to be discussed include:  research on collections care,
  educating the public as to the importance of collections, technology
  transfer, strategies and alliances to develop resources for
  collections support. On May 13, ASC will be sponsoring a workshop on
  institutional planning and policies for collections.  SPNHC will
  present a symposium on risk assessment and management on May 14.  To
