Visitor from Prague

Dr. Jana Skladalova, Head of Central Food Library, will be here later
this month visiting Kansas State University Libraries to see one of our
agriculture collections.  She has also requested some time to speak with
me concerning preservation matters.

The library news I read coming from the former Czechoslovakia is not
good. Does anyone on the list have any information helpful to her that I
can pass on?  Any organizations other than IFLA (the International
Association of Library Associations) that she could contact?  I'd like
to be more helpful than the preservation generalities like "Keep your
library cool and dry."
