The buildings have no structural damage, only some plaster cracks. Some books had their spines bruised when they fell; at least one manuscript box split, but the contents remained intact; there's been no damage to the art collections. We reopened Tuesday morning, most employees returned to work, and operations are normal--to the extent that we can work with our nerves a little shaken.
