Consolidation of gouache

It would be worthwhile to consult the "Matte Paint Supplement" to AATA.
The Getty Conservation Institute and other research groups have done
quite some work on the consolidation of matte painted surfaces.  This
supplement summarizes the findings and has a comprehensive bibliography.
