Subject: Midwest Regional Conservation Guild meeting
The Midwest Regional Conservation Guild (MRCG) will have its fall meeting Saturday and Sunday, October 8-9, in Pittsburgh, PA. The meeting will be hosted by The Carnegie. Saturday sessions will be held at The Carnegie Museum of Natural History Lecture Hall, and the Sunday sessions will be held at The Andy Warhol Museum. Special guest speaker Carol Mancusi-Ungaro, conservator at the Menil Collection in Houston, will present "The Artist's Voice: Original Intent," featuring video footage of interviews of contemporary artists (Sunday October 9, 9 AM, The Andy Warhol Museum Theater). Also scheduled are a variety of presentations, including two on ethnographic conservation; there will be lab tours and free time to visit the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, the newly-reinstalled galleries of the Carnegie Museum of Art, the Heinz Architectural Center, The Andy Warhol Museum, and other Pittsburgh offerings.
