Painted wood symposium

The Painted Wood Symposium, sponsored by the Wooden Artifacts Group of
the AIC, will be held at Colonial Williamsburg, Saturday, Nov. 12 thru
the 14th, 1994. The offerings will include all aspects of polychromed
artifacts and has collected a wide array of papers from all aspects of
the conservation field; i.e. furniture, architecture, objects and more.
Please contact Cary Howlett, the symposium director, at Williamsburg
(sorry, don't have the number in front of me) or contact the AIC office
for more information. It promises to be  very good, but be warned that
it is filling up *fast*.
