Pittsburgh Regional Library Center Workshop Risk Management: Safeguarding Library, Archive, and Museum Collections This one day workshop will focus on issues that must be addressed in developing specs for insuring library, archive, and museum collections; issues that ensure the longevity of collections through security and safeguarding; and issues of collection valuation and disaster planning. Understanding what should be insured, general planning for insurance and risk management, and information for insurance agents and risk managers concerning unique collections will also be discussed. Speakers will address specific issues for libraries, archives, and museums. Small group discussions will provide a forum for questions and answers.
