The Michigan Alliance for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, an organization representing libraries, archives and museums, is pleased to announce the publication of the proceedings of its November 1991 conference, "Conserving Cultural Heritage in the 21st century." It includes the following: * Program presentations by Larry Reger, (NIC), Robert W. Warner, (former Archivist of the U.S. and director of the University of Michigan Library), Simon Bronner (distinguished professor of Folklore and American Studies, Pennsylvania State University), and John Eadie, archaeologist and Dean, that provided the philosophical and historical case for preservation; * working sessions reports from the libraries, archives, historic preservation and museum affinity groups; and * the conference evaluation; * appendices To order a copy, send a check made out to the "Michigan Alliance" for $13.50 (includes handling and shipping).
