Subject: Pennsylvania statewide needs assessment project
Pennsylvania's Preservation Planning in midst of needs assessment survey "Preserving Pennsylvania's Past for the Future," a Statewide Preservation Planning Project, currently is compiling results from its preservation needs assessment survey. The survey was sent to more than 3,000 individuals or institutions, including libraries, archives, historical societies, museums, businesses, private foundations, government offices and record repositories across Pennsylvania. Responses are still being accepted. If you received a survey but have not returned it, please do so now. If you represent a Pennsylvania institution and did not receive a survey but would like to participate, call Joanne Dunmyre at the Statewide Preservation Planning Project at 412-825-0600. The final results of the survey will help to determine priorities and a plan for future preservation activities in the state. "Preserving Pennsylvania's Past for the Future" is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and Commonwealth Libraries (formerly the State Library of Pennsylvania), with additional support from the Pittsburgh Regional Library Center. *** Conservation DistList Instance 8:75 Distributed: Monday, March 13, 1995 Message Id: cdl-8-75-003 ***Received on Monday, 13 March, 1995
