Conservation nomenclature

I agree with Gregor Trinkaus-Randall concerning the definitions of
"Conservation" and "Preservation" and question the need to reinvent
the wheel.  We have enough new language to learn with computers
without redefining perfectly good words.  Note: my background is
English.
