Recent earthquakes, floods and hurricanes have raised librarians'
awareness of the need to know more about insuring collections. Learn
from an insurance professional and a preservation librarian the
issues related to the preparation of insurance specifications. Hear
a Miami-Dade County Library System official describe the aftermath
of a disaster.  This program is designed for library administrators,
preservation and collection development librarians who need to know
the key problems in establishing coverage and negotiating claims.
Speakers will be Duane Lupke of Lupke, Rice & Clancy Associates;
Jeanne Drewes, consultant, formerly Preservation Services Manager,
Pittsburgh Regional Library Center; Raymond Santiago, Miami-Dade
County Public Library System.
