Brief book review

The Larousse Dictionary of Science and Technology published
1995, ISBN 0-7523-0010-5 (hardback) or 0-7523-0011-3 (paperback) is a
great new fully revised publication which really should be on
everyone's book shelf, certainly a title for your Xmas list. The
single volume paperback version is by far the best value at just
19-99 UK pounds.

I have found myself looking up words just for the hell of it so I
can glance through at other references,there are a good many
illustrations too to help one understand the diagrammatic concepts.

There are also some very useful and interesting appendices and I
must say one of my favourites by a long chalk is (USA equivalent
paper weights).. anyone whom has ever puzzled over comparisons
between lbs and gsm will find this table a real eye opener.
