Adhesive for attaching canvas to wall

Has anyone suggestions as to what adhesive one might use to re-adhere
a now fully restored bomb damaged canvas to wall coving?

Background: the raggy thin canvas has been relined onto a thin
support canvas which has a slight waxed finish on the rear. The
canvas, which measures approximately 3 x 10 feet has been restored
following near-fatal bomb damage and is presently in smaller 3 x 2
ft sections. The adhesive must be reversible, of a suitable archival
quality and must be able to adhere the waxy canvas to a smooth
plastered wall/coving area which at one point goes at right angles
to itself. The area is some is only accessible by scaffolding. In
view of this and the size, quick adhesion is going to be essential.
Has anyone thoughts on what adhesive might be appropriate>
