Dust jackets

At Boise State University, we preserve the dust jackets for a
limited number of Idaho authors.  We remove the dust jackets, pencil
in the call number of the book lightly on the inside of the cover,
and store them flat in an oversize box, in the Special Collections
department.  We have not yet, but plan to, annotate the books'
automated catalog record to indicate the fact that a dust jacket is
preserved in Special Collections.
