In cooperation with a group of experts specialised in paper conservation, Museum Boerhaave in Leiden (The Netherlands) has started a new international project on the conservation of papier mache models made in the nineteenth century by Dr. Auzoux. Although several attempts have already been made to tackle this problem, the results were not very satisfying. The approach of this new project is an international one and everybody who is in charge of, or interested in papier mache models, is invited to react to this message and to join the project.
