Personal Digital Assistants

I am interested in using the Apple MessagePad 120 (Newton) for
surveys and examination notes. I am curious if anyone has experience
using a MessagePad with the database and/or word processing
applications that are available for the 1.x and new 2.0 Newton
operating systems. Your comments would be greatly appreciated.
