University of Dundee 3 Posts in Paper Conservation The Library Conservation Unit at the University of Dundee has been operating since 1985 and provides a conservation service for libraries, museums, institutions and small repositories as well as working on the University's own collections. In the autumn of 1996, it will move to a new purpose-built studio and expand its operations to include a new service specifically for the use of the Scottish Universities. Applications are now invited for three new posts in paper conservation. The posts will be for a period of three years initially, with a starting salary of #14,312 per annum. The starting date is 1 September 1996. Applicants should hold a minimum of a recognised qualification in paper conservation, either in books and archive material or art on paper. Well-documented experience may also be considered.
