Subject: Coatings for storage cases
Could the coating of flame-atomised metallic zinc on the inside of a purpose built zinc metallised steel storage container pose any off-gassing problems to paper artifacts within? The container in question was apparently custom designed to hold archive material in a deep store vault and the material was chosen on a cost basis over stainless steel.
