Subject: Positions at RMCC
Rocky Mountain Conservation Center in Denver has openings for an objects conservator and a photographs/paper conservator. Each position will have the normal responsibilities of a conservator to examine, condition, propose, and carry out treatments. The candidates selected must be skilled at estimating time required to perform treatments as well as enjoy interacting with non-profit clients and the public. As a regional center, we serve the Rocky Mountain/Great Plains states and so the conservators will be expected to travel occasionally. An interest in and ability to teach pre-program students and a college-level conservation theory course are important. Computer skills (PC-based, Microsoft software preferred) are essential.
