Subject: Microwave ovens
Standard practice for heating up pastes and glues seems to me to often be about annoying hotplates and time consuming processes. Is there a problem with using a microwave oven to heat something like a sturgeon glue or a rice paste before using it? I can't see that there would be, but I know that microwaves do strange things to starches in bread and such. Any info would be helpful, Aaron Beebe *** Conservation DistList Instance 10:38 Distributed: Monday, October 14, 1996 Message Id: cdl-10-38-003 ***Received on Sunday, 13 October, 1996
