Subject: Source for collagen
Carole Dignard <carole_dignard [at] pch__gc__ca> writes >Would anyone know where one can order collagen membrane, skin >membrane or goldbeater's skin? Sausage casings are re-constituted collagen (ground up and cast into forms); natural skin condoms are another source, and these can be found in most cities. All of the samples of 'gold beater's skin' which I've examined have been treated with a lubricant (and I'm not referring to condoms). The best membranes I know of (he said, patting himself on the back) are those which I've produced from the outer membrane of ox/cattle intestines. It is simple to do, but somewhat disagreeable.
