The Canadian Association for Conservation of Cultural Property (CAC)
will host the 26th Annual Conference and Workshop on May 14-17,
2000, in Ottawa, Canada. The Conference will take place at the
Canadian Museum of Nature and the Workshop will take place on the
Wed. May 17, 2000 at the Canadian Conservation Institute. The
workshop is acting as a bridge between the annual CAC conference and
"Symposium 2000--The Conservation of Historic Interiors". The
workshop is titled "Ins and Outs of On-Site Conservation". This
workshop will include health and safety issues, environmental
regulations, insurance concerns, public safety issues, public
relations and the use of heavy equipment as it pertains to a
