Assistant Conservator The Oriental Institute University of Chicago The Oriental Institute Museum of the University of Chicago is seeking a full-time, assistant conservator of archaeological materials to work with a small staff in a busy laboratory under the supervision of the Conservator. Responsibilities include the treatment and maintenance of an extensive collection of ancient Near Eastern artifacts. Applicants should have a graduate degree in conservation or the equivalent, with two years additional post-graduate experience preferred. Experience with large scale objects an advantage. Salary is competitive and includes benefits.
