Historic Mount Vernon seeks experienced professional to serve as
sole conservator for the institution and carry out preventive
conservation as well as treatments. Will also coordinate the work of
outside contract conservators, as needed. Will play key role in
movement of collections to new storage facility and in planning a
new museum. Solid knowledge of conservation and collections care
practices required. Knowledge of three-dimensional objects is
essential. Certificate from a conservation program highly preferred,
with at least 3 years' museum experience.  Submit resume and cover
