The European association FOTOSFERE is pleased to announce the
following workshop:

Conservation of Contemporary Photographic Materials
Paris, France
November 7-10, 2000

A four-day workshop organized by the European association FOTOSFERE
entitled Conservation of Contemporary Photographic Materials will be
held November 7-10, 2000 in Paris, France. Through a series of
presentations and hands-on practicum, participants will be
introduced to contemporary photographic processes and issues
surrounding their conservation such as storage, treatment and
documentation. Instructors and guest speakers include established
photograph conservators, curators, and conservation scientists. The
workshop is open to practicing photograph conservators with some
degree of experience after training. Course instruction will be in
English.

The workshop is limited to 12 participants maximum
