Archive Conservator National Archives of Scotland Edinburgh, Scotland Applications are invited from experienced and qualified conservators to join the National Archives of Scotland (NAS) Conservation Unit--working in a team of 8 conservators on the full range of collections held by NAS. The appointment is for a fixed term of 2 years with possibility of extension or permanency. Applications from candidates who wish to work part-time or on a job-share basis will be considered. Starting salary will be in the range of 16,912 to 21,023 pounds sterling with an opportunity to earn further performance related increases up to a total salary of 24,282 pounds sterling. Salary will be pro rata for part-time. Salaries are currently under annual review. You must have a diploma or a degree in book or archive and paper conservation. Appropriate practical experience is desirable. Travel and subsistence expenses incurred during the selection process are the responsibility of the applicant.
