Subject: Publication about conservation web sites
I have only this week discovered that one of my papers that may be of interest to members of this list is available on the web (really--I gave the paper from notes and didn't remember having turned in a manuscript later). The paper provides links to thirty or so web sites that exemplify different types of uses of the Internet for art conservation and historic preservation. Although the paper was given at a conference over two years ago, most of the links still work and others can easily be followed up with a few clicks. The paper is available at <URL:http://www.archimuse.com/mw98/papers/rhyne/>. Of course many additional conservation and preservation web sites have been posted since this paper was written. If anyone would care to provide an additional web address or two, especially for sites exemplifying other types of uses of the Internet for art conservation and historic preservation, no doubt many of us would be interested. **** Moderator's comments: Please respond directly to the author.
