Scaffolding for Historic Preservation Projects Association for Preservation Technology Delaware Valley Chapter Conference Arch Street Meeting House Conference Center Fourth & Arch Streets Philadelphia, PA. March 17, 2001 Description: This one-day conference will address issues relating to scaffolding used on historic building projects. Participants in the conference will have an opportunity through case study lectures to gain knowledge of scaffolding design, access, and construction in the conservation of historic buildings and monuments. The course will examine scaffolding systems and their regulations, standards, and safety issues. Participants will examine techniques for attachments to historic fabric and distributing imposed loads of scaffolding on historic structures.
