The Society of American Archivists Preservation Publication Award recognizes the author(s) or editor(s) of an outstanding published work (audiovisual, electronic, or print; article, report, chapter, monograph) related to archives preservation published in North America during the preceding year. The award, a certificate, is presented in late summer during SAA's annual meeting. The recipients of the 2000 award were Eleonore Kissel and Erin Vigneau for Architectural Photoreproductions: A Manual for Identification and Care. (New Castle: Knoll Press, April 1999.)
