West Dean College The Edward James Foundation The course, The Care and Conservation of Historic Floors, that was due to take place in February has been postponed until 25 -28 November, 2001. Led by Jane Fawcett MBE, lecturer and historian, this course, the first on this important subject, will consider the history, maintenance and repair of ecclesiastical and secular floors in Britain.
