Nationalmuseum and Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde Museums of Fine Arts
are situated in Stockholm, Sweden. Together they have c. 180
employees. Nationalmuseum of Fine Arts is looking for an experienced
paper conservator for the care of the collections as well as work in
connection with an extensive exhibition programme. The museums
collection of prints and drawings includes an important collection
of European old master drawings and European architectural drawings.
It totals around 200 000 objects and is considered one of the ten
major collections of the world in this field. It is the object of
extensive research in art history, in Sweden as well as
internationally.

The post includes the responsibility as head of paper conservation,
which has a total of three employees. In the museum organisation the
workshop is part of the department of Collections.

Applicants should have a documented experienced of work with old
master drawings and architectural drawings. Non-Swedish applicants
should be able to communicate in Swedish, Danish or Norwegian.

The post is a temporary employment for six months,  full time,
starting at earliest convenience.
