Sue Dunlap <sdunlap [at] acs__wooster__edu> writes >I have been using a heavy duty paper cutter to cut board, and have >developed tendonitis in my shoulder from the force I have to use to >cut through binders board. I know about Jacques board shears and >would love to have one, but I need to research other options. Are >there other options out there? What do the rest of you use? Whilst I do not know the capabilities of the shears which you are using it sounds as if they are too light for the board which you are cutting. Conservation by Design Limited sell an extremely reasonably priced heavy duty Board Chopper which will cope with 4 mm thick Millboard. A fuller description is given in both the Boards and Equipment sections of our catalogue which can be seen at <URL:http://www.conservation-by-design.co.uk/equipment/guillotine.html> I hope that this is of help, Stuart M.
