Dust cloths

Has anyone conducted any tests on the stability of Swiffer brand
anti-static dusting cloths ingredients from Procter and Gamble, or
similar products out there?  When I use these cloths I feel a slight
residue which dissipates, but has caused me some concern for use on
musical instrument artifacts.  I have tried to obtain materials
listings from P&G on this, to which they are unwilling to disclose,
and I would like to rest assured that the chemical formulation used
in the cloths is as unharmful as claimed.
