Subject: PHOCUS records in BCIN
The National Archives of Canada has recently contributed close to 9000 records on the conservation of photographs to the Bibliographic Database of the Conservation Information Network (BCIN). These records come from the PHOCUS database established in the mid-eighties by the late Klaus Hendriks. The references can be found by choosing 'NA' from the 'Library' pull-down box on the BCIN search screen. In the "Location of Document" field, you will see "NA=AN" which represents "National Archives of Canada = Archives nationales du Canada". Contact and document delivery information for these documents may be found on the BCIN home page. The BCIN database is available by subscription from the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN) at <URL:http://www.chin.gc.ca>. There is a free trial for 30 days. *** Conservation DistList Instance 14:57 Distributed: Friday, April 27, 2001 Message Id: cdl-14-57-011 ***Received on Wednesday, 25 April, 2001
