Assistant Conservator Museum of Fine Arts, Boston The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston is accepting applications for a three-year Assistant Conservator position to join the newly expanded and renovated Furniture and Frame Conservation lab. The successful candidate will examine and treat a wide range of furniture and other wooden objects for exhibition, loan and acquisition. The Museum's collections include a comprehensive range of furniture and other wooden objects from America, Europe and Asia from the 17th to the 20th centuries. Research and technical examination of the collections will be encouraged. The starting salary is in the mid-thirties with an excellent benefits package. Candidates must have a graduate degree in furniture conservation or equivalent training.
