Lysol, as a proprietary product, may have a variety of components
subject to batch changes. Use of such materials on collections of
long-term value is always risky and should be avoided. The same may
be said for such over-the-counter products as Febreze.  In addition,
lysol won't "get rid of" the smell, it will only mask it.

Smells in books are a problem. Since baking soda hasn't worked, I'd
try activated charcoal, clay cat litter, zeolites, and/or crumpled
newspaper.
