Subject: Coptic textiles
The National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, Australia has a collection of coptic textile fragments which are in need of improvements to their storage. I am interested in methods used to store similar collections while allowing easy access to study, preferably to both sides of the fragment. The fragments vary considerably in size. The smallest measures 70mm x 150mm and the largest 290mm x 550mm. Any advice would be appreciated.
