SOLINET Disaster Preparedness Workshop The Historic New Orleans Collections New Orleans,LA Monday, August 6, 2001 9am - 4 pm Libraries and archives are vulnerable to a variety of disasters ranging from fires and flooding to roof leaks and mold outbreaks. Through lecture, group exercises, and demonstration, this workshop will provide the training necessary to plan, organize, and execute a disaster plan and salvage operation. Instructor is Christine Wiseman, SOLINET Preservation Education Officer. Cost is $95 governing members ($85 early bird, $120 late registration), $105 associate members ($95 early bird, $130 late registration), $135 affiliate (non-members) ($125 early bird, $160 late registration). Any institution within Louisiana qualifies for the member rate.
