The History and Treatment of Works in Iron Gall Ink Interim Lecture Day Museum Support Center Smithsonian Institution Suitland, Maryland Wednesday, September 12, 2001, 9:30 - 5:30 The workshop, The History and Treatment of Works in Iron Gall Ink, given by conservator, Birgit Reissland and conservation scientist, Han Neevel, will include an interim day of lectures from local and international conservators and conservation scientists. Mackay Elmer Eusman Measuring Migrating Iron in Treated and Untreated Iron Gall Ink Samples Scott Homolka The Sensitivity of Phytate-Treated Iron Gall Ink Materials to Fungal Attack Though the 3-day workshop is now full, participants may join the lecture day.
