Scholarships and Bursaries 2002/2003 West Dean College is pleased to announce that three new scholarships have been established for students in the academic year 2002-2003. West Dean College offers graduate, postgraduate and professional development diplomas in the Conservation and Restoration of Books and Library Materials, Antique Clocks, Antique Furniture, Fine Metalwork, and Ceramics and Related Materials, as well as in the Making of Early Stringed Musical Instruments and Tapestry Weaving. Postgraduate diplomas are validated by the University of Sussex. These courses are recognised by leading public and private sector organisations for their high quality resources and advanced level skills. The small number of students allows for a high level of personal tuition. Tutors are practising professionals who continue working to commission alongside their students, thus providing an invaluable insight into the commercial world of students' chosen subjects.
