Textile Conservator National Museum of American History Behring Center Smithsonian Institution The incumbent carries out conservation treatment on and mounting of textiles and costumes in support of the exhibition and loan programs, provides conservation support for the deinstallation of textiles and costumes from existing exhibitions, and performs minor rehousing and basic stabilization for textiles and costumes being relocated from exhibition areas to collections storage. The position is a two year term appointment with a salary range of $38,406-49,924.
