Internships National Park Service The National Park Service, Historic Preservation Training Center (HPTC) is presently soliciting students for work this summer, through the Heritage Preservation Service, National Park Service, Washington D.C. HPTC has work located and scheduled throughout the country, with a number of projects located in the D.C. area. The projects vary from architectural work to hands-on preservation work. Most travel costs are borne by the HPTC. The tour of duty for the internships is 480 hours and this can be extended if necessary.
