Inpainting

Has anyone experience with inpainting areas of loss on a painting
that must be viewed--by the intention of the artist--under both
natural and UV light? The painting was done in 1948. The artist was
experimenting with some sort of fluorescent or phosphorescent medium
at the time. The painting does not glow-in-the-dark after being
exposed to natural light, but it does linger when exposed to UV
light for a very short time. Under natural light the painting
appears a monotone orange. When viewed under UV light, a full
brilliant spectrum of colors emerges. What sort of paint or medium
would solve this complication.
