Earth and Fire: Contributions to the study of Italian terracotta sculpture A major international conference The Victoria and Albert Museum Cromwell Road, South Kensington London SW7 2RL Lecture Theatre Saturday April 13, 2002 10.30-17.00 The exhibition, Earth and Fire, examines the full range of Italian terracotta sculpture between 1400 and 1800, including works by Ghiberti, Donatello, Bernini and Canova. A distinguished panel of international scholars and conservators will explore the themes of the exhibition and the accompanying book.
