A paper written in French by Emilio Ruiz de Arcaute described the preliminary report for protection treatment of a sculpture made in Cor-ten and exposed by the sea in Spain. It has been published in the conference proceedings of Metal 98 that was held in Draguignan. Publisher is James and James, pp 280-285, ISBN 1-873936-82-6. As for simulating bird droppings, I must confess that I had never really thought about it.
